The Friends of the Rec Path Trail Ambassadors had a busy 4th of July weekend. On Friday and Saturday, volunteers set up information stations at Hemlock Lane and Cranmore Mountain. They welcomed Rec Path users of all ages and mode of travel from dog walkers, runners, cyclists, roller bladders, and roller skiers! The volunteers answered questions, and gave out free Rec Path koozies to adults and 4th of July necklaces and stickers to kids. Many visitors thanked them and gave donations to support the MWV Rec Path. Locals and visitors appreciated having a community resource and a place to recreate away from traffic.
